NW Natural TV Spots
Longtime client NW Natural, recently asked Magneto to create two TV spots heralding the benefits of natural gas over other energies. The first spot, "Hassle" cleverly demonstrates how inconvenient starting a wood fire can be–from start to finish–versus a natural gas hearth. The second spot, "Responsibility" is a continuation of the "Blue" campaign we created previously, and focuses on the affordability, convenience and reliability of natural gas.Show me the spots!
Hotel Eastlund Opening Gala Promotion
Hotel Eastlund, the first luxury, boutique hotel on Portland’s East side, opened its doors to the public on June 1, 2015. To promote its opening, Magneto was enlisted to assist with several key components – ranging from PR to a highly targeted email invitation campaign for the hotel’s Grand Opening Gala – to generate excitement and interest about the new hotel.See email campaign and event photos
Polygon Corporate Refocusing Event
Polygon Group is the original pioneer in drying technology and complex dehumidification solutions and document recovery. This spring, Polygon’s U.S. division hired Magneto to assist with the announcement of a major rebranding initiative both internally and externally. Magneto produced an introductory video and coordinated a live stream broadcast of the internal company announcement event held in Chicago in May. Portland Business Alliance Rebrand
The Portland Business Alliance came to Magneto seeking a refreshed identity that would reflect a more updated representation of the organization, its membership and the important role it plays within the Portland business community. In addition to creating the new logo, tagline and animated video, Magneto developed a teaser campaign to create interest in the new mark and attending the Annual Breakfast. Magneto also produced a graphic standards guide and color palette that will be used by the Alliance in designing all related marketing materials and their new website.See the work!

Magneto worked with Portland business litigation firm Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf to create a new ad campaign that not only showcases their superior work and talent, but also their personality. We used charts and graphs in a humorous way to make the point that the business litigation process doesn't have to be a bad experience. With MHGM it can, in fact, be a very pleasant one.Let me see!

Living Well Physical Medicine is a clinic in Beaverton, Oregon that specializes in treating symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Magneto produced a TV spot highlighting the cutting edge treatment Living Well Physical Medicine provides for its patients. Magneto teamed up with Dick Hannah Dealerships to produce these event TV spots. With humor and clever animation, the spots promote Dick Hannah’s “Trade in Anything” and "Believe It" sales, and employ odd humor and a fresh take on typical car dealership commercials.Watch 'em!
Chown Hardware Rebrand
Longtime Portland-based hardware company, Chown Hardware unveiled its new graphic look developed by Magneto! Chown Hardware, family owned and operated since 1879, asked for a new brand identity that better reflected its future with a nod to its rich history. The new logo is now prominently displayed on signage at Chown’s locations in Portland and Bellevue, WA, and soon to be on their website, vehicles and marketing materials.Let's see it!
Markowitz Herbold Rebrand
Recently, the #1 ranked commercial litigation firm in Oregon (formerly Markowitz, Herbold, Glade and Mehlhaf) decided to return to their original founding name Markowitz Herbold, and called on Magneto to create a fresh new logo to reflect the shortened name. We were given a few limitations from their marketing committee: No maroon, pink or purple and absolutely no bunny rabbits in the new design. We think we did a pretty good job on following the rules.The new brand identity is symbolic of the continued evolution and growth of this extraordinary law firm. Rose City Sound began its life renting and selling sound equipment and later moved into providing a range of event services. Its impressive client history includes the Jimmy Carter campaign, Tina Turner and Creedence Clearwater Revival, to name a few.
